Currently, a contract opportunity is available to provide services to an Early Childhood and Preschool population. This onsite position allows you to work directly with energetic and curious children, supporting their communication development in a collaborative environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in schools, particularly with preschool or early childhood populations, is strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of child development, communication disorders, and evidence-based interventions
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including educators, parents, and support staff
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for young children in the early childhood/preschool setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services onsite as part of the school day
- Consult and collaborate with teachers and families to support students' progress
- Monitor and document student outcomes, write progress reports, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Support early intervention strategies and facilitate smooth transitions to kindergarten
