We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP - CCC) for a contract assignment running through the end of the school year. This position serves both an elementary and a high school campus, with autonomy to build your weekly schedule according to student priorities.
Your expertise will be critical in providing direct therapy, evaluations, and IEP support for a caseload of 60+ students. The district recognizes the challenges of a large caseload and is actively providing additional support—an SLPA will be joining within the next couple weeks to share responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure for speech-language pathology (or eligibility)
- Prior experience in school-based SLP roles preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive and student-centered practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary and high school students
- Perform comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Work effectively across both campuses, tailoring your schedule to student sessions and meetings
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to implement IEP goals
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district and state standards
