School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Osseo, Minnesota
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners as a dedicated speech-language pathologist for an onsite early childhood long-term substitute position. You will provide crucial coverage for 12 weeks, partnering with a committed early childhood special education (ECSE) team to serve children aged 3 to 5 years old. Your expertise will guide students through their speech and language goals, collaborating closely with educators and families.
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota SLP license is required.
- Experience or strong interest in early childhood speech-language pathology.
- Knowledge of school-based SLP practices and best methods for supporting ECSE caseloads.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to commit to the scheduled onsite hours and complete full assignment.
- Up-to-date resume to be submitted upon application (applications without this cannot be considered).
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative SLP services to children ages 3-5 within ECSE programs.
- Assess, develop, and implement individual and group therapy plans.
- Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student progress.
- Maintain thorough documentation and complete necessary reports in accordance with school and state guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development and review.
