Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting early childhood education as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist for a 12-week assignment. This contract role focuses on serving the ECSE 3-5 caseload, helping young children develop essential communication skills as part of a dedicated educational team. You’ll work three days per week, Monday through Friday, providing targeted care and collaborative interventions from early September through the end of November.

Ideal candidates hold a current MN SLP license and bring a passion for working with early learners in a school-based setting. If you are an SLP experienced in early childhood programs and seeking a fulfilling temporary assignment, this position offers a great way to make a positive difference.

What We're Looking For:

  • Valid Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
  • Experience with early childhood special education (ECSE), preferably with ages 3-5
  • Previous school-based SLP experience, ideally in similar settings
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, service providers, and families
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Availability to work 22.5 hours per week (3 days) within the school calendar

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to early childhood students, tailored to their IEP goals
  • Conduct assessments and contribute to evaluations as part of multidisciplinary teams
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Document progress and communicate regularly with teachers and families
  • Support a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment
