School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Osseo, Minnesota
Step into a rewarding contract role for the 2026-2027 school year serving an elementary-aged student population as a Speech Language Pathologist. You'll work alongside special education teams, dedicated teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to address student speech and language needs and support academic success.
You will be part of a strong, collegial educational community, supporting a manageable caseload of approximately 40–45 students in grades K–5. Students present with diverse needs, including articulation and fluency disorders, expressive and receptive language delays, pragmatic language deficits, developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, and other communication challenges.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Minnesota SLP license or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience providing services in a school setting preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to support communication goals
- Collaborate with teaching staff and families to promote student progress
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and staff consultations
- Support a positive learning environment for all students
