A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for an exciting maternity leave opportunity working with elementary-level students (K-3) at a school setting in Osseo, MN. This role offers the chance to work with a caseload of approximately 35 students, providing critical speech and language support during an important stage of their development. The assignment runs from the end of April through the end of the school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to K-3 students.
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders to improve students' speech and language skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create effective intervention plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
  • Support students through evidence-based strategies, both in-person and potentially through teletherapy platforms.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with relevant credentials.
  • Experience in pediatric speech and language therapy, preferably in elementary school settings.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy methods is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is preferred.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of about 35 students efficiently.
