With one opening available, you’ll have the chance to work closely with a manageable caseload of 55-60 students, dedicating 37.5 hours per week to speech-language pathology services. Your expertise will help shape students’ confidence and academic success through targeted interventions and collaborative teamwork.
Qualifications & Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY if eligible
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and students
- Ability to plan engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions tailored to diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 55-60 school-aged students
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and participate in eligibility determinations
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with educational teams
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy activities
- Consult regularly with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities
