What you'll bring:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license (Florida)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an educational setting
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized tools and informal measures
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each student’s unique needs
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, both one-on-one and in group settings
- Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers and staff to support student goals
- Offer resources and strategies to educators and families to encourage carryover of skills in the classroom and at home
