As a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll be making a meaningful impact, working five days per week for a total of 28 hours. Based in a supportive school environment near Oregon, OH, you'll collaborate with staff and families to help approximately 38 students reach their communication goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
- Valid State licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY considered
- Prior experience providing SLP services in a school setting is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Excellent organizational skills and a passion for making a difference in students’ lives
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language screenings, evaluations, and assessments for a diverse caseload (approximately 38 students)
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on students’ IEPs
- Provide direct and consultative SLP services to students in group and one-on-one settings
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and family members to facilitate student growth
- Provide resources and guidance to support students’ overall academic success
