You will manage a caseload of approximately 8-10 students but may provide services to up to 50 individuals. Most of your direct support will focus on manageable numbers, as high school students require more consultative and less frequent interventions. This structure allows for impactful, focused work while collaborating with a diverse student group.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous experience working in a school setting highly valued
- Strong understanding of IEP development, documentation, and implementation
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Develop, implement, and provide input on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation as required by the school and regulatory standards
