Qualifications & Skills
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Oregon (CCC-SLP required)
- Prior experience providing speech-language services in school settings strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with staff, students, and families
- Ability to conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Skilled in managing varying caseload sizes and adapting to different student needs
Core Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to high school students
- Case manage a core group of approximately 8-10 students, with service provision and consultation for up to 50
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing evaluations and meaningful recommendations
- Develop evidence-based individualized treatment plans
- Conduct speech and language evaluations as required and maintain accurate documentation
- Engage in ongoing collaboration with educators, families, and other related service providers
