You'll oversee a small, manageable group of 8-10 students for case management and deliver vital services to up to 50 high schoolers. Though the service number may initially seem high, many require infrequent or consult-based support, offering an efficient and achievable workload.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA
- State licensure (or eligibility) for SLP in Oregon
- Prior experience with high school-aged students preferred
- Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative SLP services to high school students
- Develop, participate in, and deliver input for IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and families
- Maintain organized and thorough documentation according to school and state guidelines
