Starting in November and extending through June, you'll serve a dedicated elementary student caseload, collaborating closely with school staff and families.

You’ll have support to maximize your impact, with the option to pitch an SLPA as part of your service delivery. This position is ideal for SLPs with pediatric expertise and a genuine passion for working in school settings.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • State licensure (or ability to obtain) for SLP practice in Oregon
  • Experience with pediatric populations and school-based service delivery
  • Knowledge of IEP development and documentation
  • Skillful communication and collaboration abilities
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for elementary students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings; contribute to goal setting and progress reports
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to enhance student outcomes
  • Offer guidance and oversight to an SLPA, if included as part of the service model
  • Utilize best practices and keep accurate, up-to-date documentation
