Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- State licensure (or ability to obtain) for SLP practice in Oregon
- Experience with pediatric populations and school-based service delivery
- Knowledge of IEP development and documentation
- Skillful communication and collaboration abilities
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for elementary students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings; contribute to goal setting and progress reports
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to enhance student outcomes
- Offer guidance and oversight to an SLPA, if included as part of the service model
- Utilize best practices and keep accurate, up-to-date documentation
