Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP license in Oregon (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong understanding of child development and educational best practices
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Comfort with digital documentation and learning new technology platforms
- Willingness to participate in Zoom interviews and district onboarding requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and individualized speech/language therapy for students assigned
- Develop IEPs and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Maintain accurate, timely session notes and required documentation
- Engage in team meetings, professional development, and training as directed
- Adapt therapy methods to fit both caseload and evolving district needs
- Travel (as needed) to assigned schools within the district
- Stay informed about district initiatives and actively contribute to program goals
