This contract opportunity is ideal for a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist seeking to work approximately 20 hours per week; your schedule will cover four days, giving you flexibility while engaging with a vibrant learning community.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid state licensure and ASHA certification (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educational teams
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students in compliance with their IEPs
  • Assess, screen, and identify communication disorders, then develop targeted treatment plans
  • Participate in team meetings, collaborating with educators, families, and related service providers
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and required reports
  • May work across multiple school sites as needed, with paid travel time if required
  • Participate in virtual or in-person meetings using the district’s preferred platforms
  • Adapt to district-specific systems, with training provided as needed
