Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Orange, CA

A meaningful opportunity awaits a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for a short-term contract position covering maternity leave in an elementary school setting near Orange, CA. This is a full-time onsite role serving students in Transitional Kindergarten through 6th grade, with a mild-to-moderate caseload and a collegial, supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy and assessment services to approximately 45 students across multiple elementary sites
- Support students with mild-to-moderate needs, including autism-specific communication strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure student progress
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, contribute to IEP meetings, and document services diligently
- Participate in paid team meetings and receive allotted indirect administrative time
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid California SLP license or qualifying state credentials
- Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY applicants also considered
- School-based experience supporting TK–6 student populations preferred
- Expertise in IEP systems, strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to pass required background checks and fingerprinting prior to start date
