Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students across Pre-K to 12th grade as they progress toward their educational goals. This contract-to-hire position is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about making an impact in a vibrant school community near Omaha, NE, and are ready to step in for a maternity leave role.

In this full-time position, you’ll manage a caseload of approximately 50 students, collaborating closely with educators and families to foster each student's communication development. Your schedule will run from 7:45 am to 3:50 pm, allowing for a structured workday and meaningful connections with students and staff.

Qualifications we’re seeking:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active Nebraska SLP license (or eligibility).
  • Previous experience or strong interest in school-based SLP roles, serving diverse age groups.
  • Confident in completing comprehensive evaluations.
  • Skilled in developing and writing IEPs.
  • Comfortable leading and participating in IEP meetings.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for teamwork and parent/caregiver communication.

What you’ll do:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication needs for students from Pre-K through 12th grade.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, tailoring approaches for a range of student needs.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress records.
  • Write effective IEPs and facilitate meetings, ensuring collaborative, student-centered plans.
  • Engage actively with parents, teachers, and other service providers to support each student’s success.
