Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Experience in school-based SLP services, including teletherapy and in-person support
- Knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in student populations ranging from elementary to high school
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable with digital platforms for virtual therapy sessions
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students (3rd grade through high school)
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify communication needs
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain detailed progress notes, documentation, and required reporting
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student growth
- Provide a combination of teletherapy and on-site services as needed
