Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Experience in school-based SLP services, including teletherapy and in-person support
  • Knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in student populations ranging from elementary to high school
  • Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable with digital platforms for virtual therapy sessions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students (3rd grade through high school)
  • Conduct assessments and screenings to identify communication needs
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain detailed progress notes, documentation, and required reporting
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student growth
  • Provide a combination of teletherapy and on-site services as needed
