Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Olympia, WA

Based near Olympia, WA, this full-time, on-site position is open to travel professionals who are passionate about helping young students reach their communication milestones and succeed in their educational environments.
Candidates must possess or be eligible for ASHA CCC’s or be completing a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), and have earned a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology. Washington State licensure is required or must be actively pursued before starting. Experience in pediatric or school-based settings is preferred, and flexibility to work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families is essential.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology (required)
- ASHA CCC’s or eligibility for CFY
- Washington State SLP licensure or willingness to obtain
- Pediatric and/or school-based caseload experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing needs in a dynamic educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and families to foster student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and therapy outcomes
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging atmosphere for learners
