Speech Language Pathologist
Here’s an exciting opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about supporting students and making a meaningful impact in a school-based setting! A full-time contract assignment is available for an SLP to provide direct speech-language services and support students throughout the school year. This position is ideal for an SLP looking to work within a collaborative educational environment while providing individualized support to students with diverse communication needs.
This full-time opportunity covers a maternity leave, beginning January 6 and continuing through April 16. The position offers a consistent 37.5-hour workweek, providing stability and the opportunity to build strong relationships with students, educators, and families throughout the assignment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license in the applicable state or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; qualified Clinical Fellows may also be considered
- Experience working with school-aged children is beneficial
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to provide effective speech-language services in a school-based environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students with a variety of communication needs
- Conduct evaluations and assessments as needed to identify student strengths and areas of need
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and monitor student progress throughout the assignment
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, support personnel, and families to promote student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary student support teams
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the individual needs of students across different learning environments
This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week and provides an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference while covering a maternity leave.
