Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to an impactful contract opportunity serving students across both an elementary and a high school. This assignment offers an immediate start, continuing through late May 2027, for a consistent 37.5-hour workweek.
You’ll primarily be responsible for providing speech and language services to a caseload of 60+ students. While the district acknowledges the size of the caseload, steps are being taken to provide additional support—an SLPA will join the team soon to assist with student services. Flexibility is encouraged: you’ll have the autonomy to create your own weekly schedule across the two campuses based on the needs of your students.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience delivering school-based speech therapy
- Comfortable working with a diverse student population across multiple campuses
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students
- Provide therapy individually and in small groups
- Monitor progress and maintain timely, accurate records
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Offer consultative services and strategies for educators and parents
