Desired Qualifications:
- Hold a current and active Speech-Language Pathology license for the state of Michigan (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in school settings, ideally with early childhood caseloads
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, assessment tools, and intervention strategies for students with speech and language needs
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be able to work independently—no SLPAs or VOCO allowed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments and create individualized treatment plans for early childhood students
- Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services in accordance with educational goals
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
