Working three days a week from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, you will address a variety of speech and language needs, with most students presenting with speech and language impairments. Enjoy the benefit of working alongside a full-time SLP on campus, providing valuable support and collaboration as you assess, treat, and help students improve their communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Active provisional SLP license, Department of Health (DOH) SLP license, or certification through FLDOE
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged children
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide therapy for students with diverse communication needs
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with educators and families
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress
- Collaborate closely with the school’s full-time SLP and multidisciplinary teams
- Communicate effectively with teachers and parents regarding therapy goals and outcomes
