School Speech Therapist | Oakland, Oregon
This opportunity is seeking skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support schools in the Oakland, Oregon area. There are two openings available, with a focus on delivering high-quality speech therapy services to students in a school setting. The position is contract-based and offers the potential for travel, providing flexibility and varied experiences.
Ideal candidates hold credentials such as CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or are currently in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Candidates in CFY will receive supervision to help gain valuable hands-on experience. Preference will be given to CF candidates eager to develop their skills in school-based speech therapy.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification with the ability to provide services in schools
- CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates considered with supervision provided
- Experience delivering speech and language therapy to school-aged children
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with educators and families
- Willingness to travel as needed between school locations
Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing speech and language interventions tailored to each student's needs.
