Step into a rewarding contract position supporting elementary school students as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of up to 55 elementary students (grades TK-5)
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) with measurable speech and language goals
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support students’ academic and social-emotional development
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine student needs
- Maintain up-to-date and organized documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Attend meetings and contribute expertise as an integral member of the student support services team
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold an active and valid SLP license for practice in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) desirable
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic elementary school environment
