School Speech Language Pathologist - Oakland, California

Ideal candidates have an active California SLP or SLPA license and a passion for helping students achieve their communication goals. Clinical Fellows (CFs) and SLPAs are welcome to apply. Please note: teletherapy is not being considered for this role at this time; onsite services only. Supervision availability for SLPAs is under review. Previous experience working in schools and Spanish language skills are highly valued, but not mandatory.
Qualifications:
- Current, active California SLP or SLPA license in good standing
- Experience in a school setting highly preferred
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus
- Willingness to collaborate with educators, students, and families
- Openness to learning and supporting a diverse community
- Ready to work full-time during the school year
- Open to recent graduates and SLPAs as well as experienced clinicians
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Support a positive and inclusive learning environment
