Desired Background & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Wisconsin SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in K-8 educational settings preferred
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to various types of disabilities
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among K-8 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families for holistic student development
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary team efforts
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services, adapting to a range of abilities and backgrounds
