This role offers the flexibility of working three days each week in the Petaluma and Novato area, providing essential speech and language intervention alongside a collaborative special education team.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Current (or eligibility for) state licensure as an SLP
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other related service professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among K-12 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEPs
- Document progress and prepare reports in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
- Serve as a resource to staff and families regarding speech and language concerns
- Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services in group and individual settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative student support planning
