Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Norwood, Colorado

Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active Colorado SLP license
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) or completion of CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong grasp of evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage students, families, and educational staff
- Open to both experienced SLPs and recent graduates seeking CFY supervision
- Willingness to travel and adapt to new environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in small groups
- Document progress, maintain compliance with IEPs, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other school professionals to promote speech and language development
- Educate school personnel and parents on supporting communication skills in and out of the classroom
