Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Michigan SLP license required
- Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Background or interest in pediatric, healthcare-based, or school-based speech therapy
- Experience working in early childhood/ECSE settings preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to a small group of Headstart/ECSE students (preschool age)
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized goals based on IEPs
- Document progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with school and state standards
- Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to support student outcomes
- Adapt therapy approaches to fit each child’s unique needs, ensuring growth in communication skills
- Attend relevant meetings or training sessions as needed
