School Speech Language Pathologist - Norwalk, Connecticut

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP license (Connecticut or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to K-12 students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress for a diverse caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student growth
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing valuable insights on student needs
- Utilize engaging, evidence-based strategies to meet students at their level and accelerate progress
- Maintain timely and accurate reports and documentation as part of best practices
