Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in Connecticut
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Prior experience working in a school setting with K-12 populations is highly desired
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and maintain thorough documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assess speech, language, and communication disorders
- Deliver therapy services individually and in groups to K-12 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other education professionals
- Participate in IEP and multi-disciplinary team meetings
- Provide services in both English and Spanish, ensuring equitable access to support
- Maintain accurate and compliant records per school and state guidelines
