Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current and valid SLP license in Massachusetts, or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Strong background in pediatric speech therapy, preferably in an educational environment
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language, voice, and fluency assessments
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate therapy into daily activities
- Communicate progress and strategies to families, caregivers, and other stakeholders
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation per school and legal guidelines
