Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in North Tonawanda, NY

The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 8:55 AM to 4:45 PM EST, including both direct and indirect working hours, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
The district is exclusively seeking an on-site professional, as previous virtual solutions were not successful, and they are not equipped to provide facilitators for teletherapy. You’ll step into a collaborative team environment that values self-starters ready to take initiative and deliver high-quality support to students who need it most.
Ideal candidates will bring:
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for school-based SLP services
- Minimum of two years of experience within K-12 school settings
- Strong organizational skills and adaptive communication style
- Proven comfort with managing a caseload and initiating services independently
- Motivation to support diverse school communities, including interest in travel assignments
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech, language, and communication assessments
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Collaborating with educators and families on student progress
- Documenting service delivery and progress reports
- Committing to the full academic year to ensure continuity of care
