School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Elkton, Maryland

You’ll provide services to a caseload of approximately 55 students, working 35 hours per week in a collaborative, supportive educational setting committed to student success.
Qualifications:
- Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) required
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting highly preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and goal writing
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to changing student needs
- State licensure or eligibility for required SLP credentials
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to students onsite
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Collaborate closely with fellow SLPs, teachers, families, and support staff
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of student progress and treatment outcomes
- Participate in faculty meetings and ongoing professional development
- Provide guidance and advocacy for students’ communication needs within the classroom
