A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Pittsfield, MA, supporting elementary students from pre-kindergarten through 5th grade. This position involves providing specialized speech and language services within an educational setting, focusing on enhancing communication skills and supporting academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students at Crosby Elementary.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ communication development.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid School SLP License or Certification.
- Experience working in a school environment with elementary-age children.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and related disorders.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
