Your expertise will directly impact 5th–8th grade students with varying needs, including Specific Learning Disabilities, Speech or Language Impairments, and Autism.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous school-based SLP experience highly preferred
- Comfortable providing direct therapy and conducting evaluations
- Knowledge of best practices for students with SLD, SLI, and Autism
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to a caseload of 20–30 students (grades 5–8)
- Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations
- Develop, implement, and track individualized student progress on IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff for coordinated care
- Document services and maintain compliance with school and state requirements
- Offer engaging interventions tailored to diverse learning needs
Position Details:
- Contract role, 2 days per week (any combination of Monday through Friday)
- 7 hours per day (8:30 AM – 3:30 PM)
- Manage a focused caseload with meaningful impact
