Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Norristown, PA

This full-time opportunity is perfect for Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about working in a collaborative school environment. Your expertise will play a key role in helping approximately 35-40 children reach their fullest potential at a single location, with a structured Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00am to 3:30pm. Current needs call for two dedicated professionals to join this dynamic team.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Prior school-based and/or pediatric experience is highly valued
- Strong background in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) required
- Ability to manage diverse caseloads across K-8 grade levels
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to students in grades K-8
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student progress
- Utilize AAC devices and strategies to enhance student communication
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all school policies and procedures
- Monitor student growth and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
