Step into a rewarding opportunity as a contract Speech Language Pathologist supporting students in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time school-based position runs from August 11, 2026, through June 1, 2027, and places value on providing onsite, in-person service—virtual options are not available.
As an SLP, you may be assigned to one school or share time between two, working with diverse caseloads spanning Pre-K through age 22. Final school placement and specific caseload details will be discussed during your interview. Locations include PreK-22 campuses in the North Panhandle region, offering a beautiful setting and enriching professional experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida DOH Provisional SLP License required
- Prior school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills and adaptability to work with students across multiple age groups
- Must be willing to complete fingerprint clearance and obtain a JLA badge for campus access; candidates with valid, recent Florida district fingerprints (via AHCA Clearinghouse) may have expedited clearance
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and progress reporting
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff
- Help tailor individualized therapy plans to meet student needs
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with school and state regulations
