- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Demonstrated experience in both healthcare and educational settings, particularly within schools
- Strong grasp of best practices for diagnosing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Familiarity with developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Exceptional communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing screening, assessment, and diagnostic services to students with a range of speech and language challenges
- Designing and executing individualized treatment plans for students in collaboration with teachers and parents
- Attending and contributing to IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations tailored to each student’s needs
- Monitoring student progress, maintaining accurate records, and preparing necessary documentation according to district and state guidelines
- Offering support and resources for classroom teachers to create language-rich environments
