Qualifications & Experience:
- Current or pending New York State SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates welcome
- Demonstrated experience with pediatric and school-aged populations (K-12)
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication disorders
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Outstanding communication, organization, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Collaborate closely with staff to support students’ academic and social success
- Maintain accurate records and provide progress updates
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
- Engage with parents and caregivers regarding progress and intervention strategies
