ProCare is seeking two dedicated professionals to provide services full-time throughout the entire school year.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred, but not mandatory
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Strong diagnostic and documentation abilities
- Compassion and a genuine commitment to student development
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique strengths and challenges
- Deliver evidence-based therapy and interventions within individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to maximize student progress
- Monitor, document, and report on student achievements and goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight into student support plans
- Educate and empower caregivers and staff to reinforce language and communication objectives
- Stay up to date on best practices and maintain appropriate licensure
