Ideal candidates will have:
- Active Virginia SLP License (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or comparable certification/licensure
- Experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings
- Strong assessment, intervention, and collaboration skills
- Comfort working with diverse student populations
- Ability to manage caseloads across multiple sites
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
In this role, you will:
- Provide speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized education and therapy plans
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and paid team collaboration sessions
- Document services accurately within contracted hours
Assignments span from February 22, 2027, to June 10, 2027, covering a maternity leave. Candidates will be compensated for all hours worked within the contract, including indirect/admin time. Interviews are held via Zoom, with hiring decisions expected within 24-48 hours to streamline your transition.
