Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Newfield, New York

You’ll work onsite for 32.5 hours each week within a collaborative educational team from September 2, 2025 through June 25, 2026. As part of your daily routine, you’ll provide both direct and consultative services to students, participate in IEP meetings, coordinate with teachers and families, and develop individualized treatment plans.
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Valid NY State SLP License and current TSSLD Certification
- Strong background working with pediatric populations, ideally within schools
- Experience or interest in teletherapy and clinical fellowship (CFY) candidates welcome
- Proficient in supporting diverse diagnoses—autism, cognitive and emotional disabilities, Down Syndrome
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and collaborative, student-centered care
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess speech, language, and communication abilities of K-12 students
- Develop, implement, and document individualized therapy plans
- Provide both individual and group therapy as needed
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to ensure successful outcomes
