Travel School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Newark, New Jersey
A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with experience in school and healthcare settings. This position offers a travel assignment based in Newark, NJ, with a specialized focus on supporting elementary students, primarily those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Key Qualifications:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) credentials
- Experience delivering teletherapy services and in-school interventions
- Familiarity with diverse caseloads, with an emphasis on elementary-aged children
- Proficiency in working with students diagnosed with ASD
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 19 students
Location and Schedule:
- Position is located in Newark, NJ
- Scheduled for 2 days per week: Thursdays and Fridays, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech and language therapy services to elementary school students
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each student, particularly those with ASD
- Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to support student progress
- Utilize both in-person and teletherapy modalities to maximize service delivery
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes
