Pediatric Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Newark, NJ

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license (or eligibility) in New Jersey
- At least one year of pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and goal setting
- Strong collaborative skills with teachers, staff, and families
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Ability to adapt speech therapy interventions to diverse student populations
- CCC-SLP certification is an advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy to students
- Perform assessments, interpret results, and develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Write detailed progress reports and maintain accurate records according to school guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the educational planning process
- Educate families and school staff on communication strategies and goals
- Maintain a positive and supportive environment conducive to student learning
