Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or actively completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Pediatric experience or genuine passion for working with children in educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication assessments and therapy to students in need
- Collaborate closely with administrators, teachers, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document student progress, conduct ongoing evaluations, and maintain compliance with all legal and ethical standards
- Attend meetings and regularly communicate with the special education team
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere by advocating for students’ needs
