Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active SLP license for the state of New Jersey
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly desired
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop strong rapport with students, educators, and families
Your Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services within the school setting
- Collaborate with IEP teams, educators, and families to monitor student progress and adjust interventions
- Maintain accurate student records and participate in IEP meetings
- Engage in school-wide initiatives to support communication and inclusion for all students
