Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though CFYs with strong clinical placements are considered
- Prior experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly valued
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with communication, articulation, and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with classroom teachers and support staff
- Document student progress and maintain accurate, confidential records
- Consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student achievement
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and professional learning opportunities as needed
