Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Newark, New Jersey

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP practice
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or currently in CFY
- Past experience in school, pediatric, or healthcare settings is highly valued
- Outstanding communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
- Enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders
- Provide direct, evidence-based therapy for students in individual and group sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support each child’s learning
- Monitor progress, document therapy outcomes, and adjust strategies as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, educational planning, and professional development activities
- Advocate for students’ speech-language needs within the school environment
